The project covers the major renovation of 11.841 km of road III-121, connecting the settlements in the municipality of Boynitsa with the regional center of Vidin. The section passes through mountainous terrain and provides the only transport connection with the villages of Rabrovo, Kanits and Perilovets, bordering Serbia.
The beginning of the repaired section is at km 20+000, before the intersection for the village of Rabrovo, and the end is at km 31+840.52 - the intersection for the village of Borilovets, where the section connects to the already rehabilitated LOT 37.
The road has not been repaired since 1968 and is in a deteriorated condition and has limited passability. The scope of the project includes one large facility over the Gabrovska River and 30 culverts.
