The project includes the design (preparation of a technical design) and construction of a bypass section of the Ruse - Veliko Tarnovo motorway with a length of 35.4 km. The beginning is immediately after the "full cloverleaf" type junction with the I-5 "Ruse - Byala" road, and the end - after the junction with the I-3 "Pleven - Byala" road.
The gauge of the motorway is G27, with a width of 27.50 m in the area of the facilities. The route includes:
• 4 viaducts, including one over the Yantra River;
• 5 large facilities at road intersections – 4 underpasses and 1 overpass;
• 4 agricultural intersections;
• 2 types of recreational areas – type 1 (for short-term recreation) and type 2 (with the possibility of commercial facilities).
